Our child was experiencing some articulation difficulties that were related to a tongue thrust. Rather than having an appliance placed into her mouth, we decided to explore speech and language therapy to address these concerns. We were thrilled to find Tracey. She always managed to build therapy sessions with challenges and interesting tasks, which motivated our child to improve. She was able to vary her approaches in therapy sessions to keep our child interested and focused. We were pleased to find that through speech therapy with Tracey, our child was able to retrain her tongue muscles to correct this issue without the use of an appliance. Tracey is an excellent Speech-Language Pathologist as well an an extremely knowledgeable and experienced professional. Tracey demonstrated her full professional range while working with my son! He was 18 months old when we started.. he had just been treated for being "tongue tied" and was speech delayed. Somehow, my attached little bunny rushed to Miss Tracey twice a week...is it the lollipops?, the games?? whatever it is...it's magic, and it works!! As my son began to train his tongue, we noticed other speech-related issues, including a stutter that developed almost two years after treatment began. (He has since been diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome).  Tracey Diamond changed my son's life forever. Tracey was recommended to me by a school social worker after my son just missed the cut off for early intervention. I booked an appointment right away for in-home services with Tracey. Not only was Tracey warm and personable, but she provided me with valuable information about how to get the school district to provide the services that my son needed, and how to get reimbursement for services from my health insurance provider.  Tracey Diamond worked with both of my daughters who had different speech issues. Tracey worked with one in person and the other via Skype sessions after we moved out of the area.  She was very effective in helping both overcome their different speech problems. Tracey is extremely personable and professional. She provided great exercises for them to do at home to reinforce what they learned during sessions each week. Tracey has a wonderful way of interacting with children of all ages.  It is my pleasure to recommend Tracey Diamond and her speech practice. I often do it in person all the time! I was referred to her by colleagues at the JCC of Central NJ after my 3 year old was identified as having articulation issues. When he began he could not raise his tongue to the roof of his mouth or make the following sounds: c,k,s,g,l,s and blended sounds (i.e. sl, tr, clr, gr, etc.). It was very difficult for people to understand him and it was causing frustration on all parts! Tracey immediately got to know my son's personality and he warmed up to her and wanted to please her and make her proud by doing his homework exercises and remembering to bring his speech notebook.  Tracey has helped my daughter through a variety of speech issues. As a young toddler, she was unintelligible. she warmed to Ms. Tracey immediately and made incredible progress in a very short span of time. Years later, she was having trouble with her R's and we revisited Ms. Tracey. She has lots of tools, drills, visual demonstrations, and cues that help a child.
